I had known of Positive Discipline for years ... everything I read fit with my beliefs as a teacher. In a workshop environment, I experienced the work with the benefit of experiential activity based learning. Kristin fielded questions, led activities, and guided us through misunderstandings. I know I came away with a richer and deeper belief in why and how treating all students with respect while being kind and firm is deeply encouraging. I also came away with not only affirmation of why, but concrete ways how to create this environment in my classroom.
