Thank you truly for a practice-changing experience these last two days. I feel so full and so ready for this year; I find myself hoping I have some of those students in my classes again, to build and repair relationships, and to be the teacher they've needed me to be.

I had known of Positive Discipline for years ... everything I read fit with my beliefs as a teacher. In a workshop environment, I experienced the work with the benefit of experiential activity based learning. Our trainer fielded questions, led activities, and guided us through misunderstandings. I know I came away with a richer and deeper belief in why and how treating all students with respect while being kind and firm is deeply encouraging. I also came away with not only affirmation of why, but concrete ways how to create this environment in my classroom. Assistant Professor - Columbia College Chicago

SEL Chicago's gentle, supportive leadership made the whole class particularly wonderful. The coursework gives me a calm, effective way to approach day-to-day communication with my kids, and helps me to deal with and even anticipate issues in an effective way. Months after completing the series of classes, I find myself still relying on the tools she provided and feeling so thankful to have this program in our lives. We are a calmer, happier, more positive family thanks to Kristin and the Positive Discipline methodology. Thank you for this gift of respect and calm, we are forever grateful. Heather R. - Chicago
